What people say. Recommended for explaining why mouse studies, particularly regarding cancer and aging, may not reliably translate to humans.

On “Cracking down on research fraud”

He specifically mentions comments like yours are not helpful. This is the researcher fraud that is the problem in science that we are talking about, issues at hand are ignored or twisted so the paper mill can continue. The concept is all mice in the USA come from one laboratory and have a common attribute that's different from wild mice and European suppliers. And it's spelt out how in theory this different attribute could change medical results. To come back with we don't care, without proof it's not a issue, is a deeply broken system, but is exactly how current universities work. Ever since I watched Bret Weinstein explain the problem with using today's lab mice1, I've been more cautious about any results involving mice and cancer. 1 link to this video

On “Human ageing process biologically reversed in world first”

There have been a few interviews with Bret Weinstein on this topic as it pertains to lab mice. 1 2 I am curious if this is in any way related and would there be similar concerns around how humans deal with senescent cells and cancer if Telomere are artificially lengthened. Out of curiosity, does anyone in this field have more information to add to Bret's interview that can explain technically how the mice ended up with longer Telomere's and if it was on purpose? 1 - link 2 - link to this video
