Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026.
Rounds is operated by Kaine Ventures LLC. This policy covers the Rounds website and the Rounds app for iPhone and iPad.
The short version
- Rounds has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising of its own and does not track you across other apps or websites.
- What you watch, like, save and follow stays on your device. We never receive it.
- Rounds does not ask for, collect or store health information about you.
- Videos play in YouTube's embedded player, so Google receives data when you watch. Google's privacy policy covers that.
What stays on your device
Your watch history, resume positions, likes, Watch later list, playlists, the areas, topics and channels you follow, and your settings are kept on your device: in your browser's local storage on the website, and in the app's own storage in the app, which the app's widgets can read. None of it is sent to us. If you export your library in the app, the file goes wherever you save it. To delete everything, clear the site's data in your browser, or delete the app.
The app adds the videos to your device's Spotlight search, and its widgets, quick actions and Siri shortcuts run on your device. Apple handles those features under its own privacy policy.
Notifications
If you follow something in the app and allow notifications, the app compares each new catalog with the one before, on your device, and shows a notification when new videos arrive in what you follow. What you follow is never sent to us, and we do not send push notifications.
What reaches our servers
The website and the catalog files are hosted by Vercel. When you load a page, search the website, or when the app downloads catalog updates, the request carries your IP address, browser or device details and the address requested, including search words on the website. We use these only to answer the request. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs for a short time for security and operations. We do not combine them with anything else or use them to identify you. In the app, search runs on your device and is not sent to us.
YouTube
Rounds uses YouTube API Services. Videos play in YouTube's embedded player, and video thumbnails and channel images load from YouTube's servers. When they load, Google receives your IP address and device details, and the player may store cookies or similar data on your device. The player runs in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Rounds does not ask for access to your YouTube or Google account and cannot see what you watch on YouTube.
By watching videos in Rounds you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Exchange and Wikipedia
Rounds shows short excerpts of public comments, answers and articles that recommended each video. Opening one takes you to that site, where its own privacy policy applies.
Children
Rounds is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Service providers
We use one category of provider: website and catalog hosting. We share the named list on request.
Your choices and contact
Because your library never leaves your device and we keep no analytics, we hold nothing we could tie to you to export or delete. If you have a question or a request about your data, email privacy@roundshealthapp.com. For legal matters, email legal@roundshealthapp.com.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. For help with Rounds, see Support.
