A demonstration of the rapid cognitive decline and loss of consciousness caused by hypoxia during pilot training in an altitude chamber.
This was training offered at the FAA headquarters for all Pilots, civilian and Military alike, who wanted to further their training and become safer Pilots.
In the same day we also went into a smoke chamber where we had to find our way out of a large airliner fuselage filled with breathable smoke.
A water chamber where they put us in a cage and strapped in and rolled us over we had to unstrap ourselves and swim out while holding our breath as if it were a submerged cockpit.
And a cold chamber where they left us in metal room in a mock cockpit at -10 degrees in groups of 4 to see how long we could last.
I did best at that one since I'm from Michigan LOL even outlasted the navy pilots in the cold.
25,000ft up. I cant survive withtout oxygen. Im the second guy that has to have his mask put back on for him lol

What people say. Recommended as a vivid demonstration of how quickly oxygen deprivation impairs cognitive function.

I did a flight safety training course and the video clips of people right before they pass out from anoxia are entertaining and educational. Here's one from the FAA: link to this video
…the flight plan and then holding till running out of fuel) -Why flying for 6 hours if you want to suicide? passenger oxygen only works 15 min (time enough to reach a breathable altitude), the portable oxygen tanks for the auxiliary crew will work for 30 min more or less.. Look at this video of hypoxia test at 25k feet to see how fast you pass out link to this video -why disconnect the communications? you only need to ignore them. why bother with the ACARS? So far all the things are more consistent with a hijacking done by someone with some knowledge of flying a plane (like asking pilots to shut down coms, climbing descending, turning, introducing a waypoin…
