A 1989 documentary presenting a pro-choice perspective on abortion and the practice of menstrual extraction.

No Going Back is a strange weaving of politics. The hosts of the documentary spend much of their time reassuring the viewer, dispelling myths, countering right-wing narratives; all hallmarks of the liberal feminist movement. But, it unequivocally advocates menstrual extraction, which would be seen as an autonomous, anarchist perspective today. The video is dated in so many ways -- it's binaristic and cis-centric, most of all. My hope is that you, dear watcher, can take something good away from this mess.
