What people say. Recommended for its detailed discussion on the technology and potential applications of Kernel's brain-monitoring helmets.

…you were questioning the value of BCIs in general. So my goal with that post was to try to make an argument for the potential of what BCI tech is good for in the first place, as I interpreted your post. If you want an overview of what their company's devices can do today and what's planned, this recent podcast episode with the CEO is a good start: link to this video…

Following blog post talks more in detail about his meals/daily diet: link See also where he talks about this a little bit with Lex Fridman. I watched the video first then poked around on Google a little and found his webpage. link Full podcast which is more about Johnson’s brain monitoring device: link to this video Note I don’t have any affiliation with Johnson or Kernel, just enjoy Fridman’s podcasts.

On “Mind reading technology: helmet aims to unlock brain's secrets”

Johnson was on the Lex Fridman podcast recent and discussed the helmet there: link to this video The most interesting thing is that one of their helmets, Flow, is using IR backscatter sensing rather than the electric or magnetic sensing that most other BCI devices (including their other helmet, Flux) use. The system is still pricey at $50-100k or $3.6k/mo, but they're also planning on selling a simplified version at $5k: link
