A guided, slow-paced three-round breathing session led by Wim Hof to help beginners practice his breathing method.

Learn the full method with Wim Hof, step by step, in the free Masterclass: wimhofmethod.com/free-mini-class This is a slower paced Wim Hof Method breathing exercise that starts with a 30 seconds hold building up to 90 seconds breath hold. Very suitable for beginners or anyone who prefers a more gentle guidance. This Breathing Bubble is an audiovisual guide that helps you maintain rhythm and pace during your breathing sessions. Simply watch the bubble as it expands and contracts, and follow with your breath. You'll hear Wim breathe alongside you, and entrancing background sounds help tune out your surroundings, allowing you to focus on nothing but your breath. The Wim Hof Method combines breathing exercises, cold exposure and mindset. Since 2012, scientists have studied the Wim Hof Method in more than 20 peer-reviewed articles, including randomized studies at Radboud university medical center (PNAS, 2014). ▶ Free Master Class: wimhofmethod.com/free-mini-class ▶ Wim Hof Method app: wimhofmethod.com/wim-hof-method-mobile-app ▶ Online course – Fundamentals: wimhofmethod.com/elearning/fundamentals ⚠ SAFETY FIRST Always practice the breathing exercises sitting or lying down, in a safe environment, and never force anything. Never practice them in or near water, in the bath, while driving, or in any situation where losing consciousness could be dangerous. Fainting in water can lead to drowning (known as shallow water blackout). If you have a medical condition or are pregnant, consult a doctor first. On “5-min breathing workout lowers blood pressure as much as exercise, drugs (2021)”

Thanks for this. My pensioner mother came back from the doctors yesterday with a chest infection, on top of this she has mild bronchitis. I've just sent her this exercises as I'm hoping it might improve her lung health. Although i did send her this one which is a bit easier: link to this video But thanks for posting it, I never knew about this method. Just tried it myself and it rocks.

I got into doing this Wim Hof breathing exercise a few years ago and it was definitely intense. Unsure if this is related but sounds similar. link to this video
